Draw, Measure, and Label Your Dental X-rays with Ease
Xrays.Dental includes built-in tools for measuring and annotating dental radiographs directly inside the Imaging Workspace. These features help dentists and staff mark, label, and analyze X-rays more accurately during diagnostics and treatment planning.
The Measure tool allows you to draw a straight line between two points on an image and calculate the real-world distance in millimeters (mm).
Measuring root canal lengths
Checking gaps between teeth
Estimating bone loss
Planning implant placements
Open a patient X-ray in the Imaging Workspace
Click the Ruler icon from the right-side tool panel
Click your start point and drag to your end point
The system will automatically show the distance
📏 This measurement is based on calibrated image scale from your sensor setup.
The Annotation tools let you mark areas on an image for clarity, communication, or future reference.
Text Labels – Add notes, tooth numbers, or observations
Arrows – Point to decay, lesions, or fractures
Shapes – Circle or box specific regions of interest
In the Imaging Workspace, select the Text or Draw tool from the right panel
Click the image to place your annotation
Edit, move, or delete annotations as needed
